Default Re: New banana grower starting in thailand

[quote=shannondicorse;222454]Hi, Thaibanana,

I am also from the tropics - but on the other side of the world.

What varieties are you putting in? ...and why only three for your pilot project?

Maybe a few more clumps of other varieties might let you know which ones prefer your fields and which you should stay away from?

Are you an organic grower? And are you growing for whole fruit - or are you going to process your output?

Hope to hear more from you.

I am putting in a cavindish
and a couple of the thai banana i will find real name and post when they go into the ground.

I will be growing for the fruit for markets and personal consumption.
The thai people are real piticular about everything not into trying new things so going to start with what i know will sell.

They should be going in the ground in about two weeks. this is something to do until i get my vanilla plants in
