ok I had one one my porch for a few years

mine produced a bloom in 2 1/2 years I kept it a few more years after that. I don't think a lot if fertilizer is needed for them. I found a few handfuls of compost monthly did best.. I'm South Florida so we have pretty good amounts of sunlight. Where I kept the plant it got only morning sun till about 11 AM then the roof kept it from seeing any direct sunlight. it was a nice medium green and I water every other day . but if it rained it got rain water. 2 inches of wood chips on top of poting soil 15 gallon container
