Even better if I can find a Maui number for her. The co-author is her husband.

Yes, she is the lead author on the Hawaiian banana book. Take my word as an academic author, there is no big money to made in writing books like hers. I bought in on Amazon for about $60. Given that it weighs about 10 pounds, is nearly 600 pages, has over 1000 beautiful photos, and is the only source of good keys to many banana cultivars and subgroups -- it's a bargain at twice that price! And yes, she has a real passion for the plants. She had been very kind and generous with her time in my communications with her. If you do a bit of internet sleuthing, you can find her direct email address.
