Ah, she is connected with the Hawaiian 'nanner book, no? Seems there are a number of books about Hawaiian plants with her name on them. I hope there is a real interest in the plants, and not merely getting one's name on rather pricey books. I've left an email with the UH Press, and will follow up with a call. Even better if I can find a Maui number for her. The co-author is her husband.
