If it doesn't have fruit I'm ok with that. I planted it here for ornamental purposes. I should have put an Orinioco there and planted the GF where it could have prospered better. I'll probably swap it out now that I know what it is.
Hydroid (Bo) came over Wednesday August 1st and he said it was Goldfinger after looking at it. That gives me two short flowering Goldfingers. Both have had some environmental stressors. I will be taking some pups from both and giving them a better spot in the Sun with fertilization and irrigation. Maybe next year I will be able to say if these will naturally grow short and fruit. I would be happy if they grow to about six feet and then set a bloom with fruit.
