With typical British reserve I notice that it has been damp here too - 6.6 inches in 4 hours and 11.1 inches overall in 16 hours - add to that the 2.5 from the night before, and there is no need to water the garden today!
No storm - just tropical rain and the temperature a cool 78f/26c. The frogs are happy, the dogs are not.
