Rob, boy, I hear you -- at least with your warm weather you don't have to wait as long for a flower as some of us to figure out it was misidentified! About 25% of mine were misidentified. Often it's not the fault of the person you get the plant from because they received them misidentified, too.

If yours tastes significantly different that Williams, maybe it is something other than Cavendish with only A genes.
