Hi, Steve,

Thank you for sharing your knowledge on germinating peony seeds and others. This thread has been very informational.

Peony was brought to my attention by someone at bananas.org. I've seen the seed packet at a local store, but I've no idea whay type of peony it was. Have you ever tried germinating peony seeds from a seed packet? I generally have less success geminating flower seeds from Burpee's or other vender's seed packets than the fresh seeds I collect myself. It would be great if you can tell me more about your experience with store-bought peony seeds.
