Even in the ripe fruit the severe "angularity" stands out, though they do tend to plump up quite a bit more when ripe:

I believe that mine is definately a Orinoco now. Just for the record I checked the fruit and there are both three lobed and four lobed BUT there's no missing the severe angularity. My other Orinoco that bloomed on June first has very plump fruit and I probably will take it soon. After this new one quits setting fruit I'll clip the bloom and probably the last two hands to try and get the others to plump quicker. That and maybe late frost/freeze may get me a few more bananas this year!!
It's been four months and a few days for my first stalk. I keep thinking I'm going to start seeing yellow soon. Has anyone timed the days from bloom to coloring.

Thanks for the compliment. My bananas really enjoy hanging out with the blueberries who share thier frequent waterings with them. When it comes to awesome bananas though, you are still the master grower in this part of the world. I know your bananas miss your care.
