Oh yes, my mom will be here. She wouldn't miss a chance to spend time with her grandson and great granddaughter for all the world! This is my brother's son and his new baby that will be coming, and as you know, my bro is deceased.

I know what you mean about not seeing certain family members for awhile. Sometimes people think they have a right to take children in families away from other family members when someone dies, as is the case in my own family with certain people. It's sad though, and I hear it happens all the time. Not right and not fair. What worse is that the children are hurt by it most of all, while adults are trying to get back at other adults and using kids to do it.

Ok, I gotta split for a bit but it's not the greatest out weather-wise so I may be back at the cottage before too long. Might not be able to have the campfire either if it keeps sprinklin...but there's always tomorrow.
