So happy to hear your enthusiasm for Aurora hot peppers! They're just the best...and so cheerful and colorful too. You gotta show pics of yours sometime as well.

It looks like you grew Caerulea passiflora...a type that is ideal for container growing. Did you grow yours in a pot or the garden? So cool about the blooms. More will follow.

Very nice to read this thread today and know that I inspired a fellow gardener. I've been inspired by many gardeners on this site too.

: )
My Caerulea passiflora is in a container planted in the ground, climbing a trellis on the side of my shed. Not quite sure what I'm going to do come fall, but it wasn't very happy on my deck with a bamboo hook in the pot last year (I tried to unsuccessfully emulate the appearance of yours). It's about 10 feet tall now. I've got a cutting growing indoors that's about 2 feet long as well.

I figured if you can grow something in Canada, I should be able to in Michigan (my thumb is only slowly showing a tint of green). I've started most of my plants from seed as well, so it's been a challenge and a lengthy wait for results. It makes success that much more exciting though.
