And thanks for this question too!! There are different levels of pledges that you can make to the film, and they each come with a reward. With any donation of $20 or more you will receive a DVD of the completed film. So, supporting the film is also sort of like buying the DVD! When you pledge, you provide a certain amount of information that Kickstarter sends to me
once we have met our goal. And after the film is finished, I will mail out all the DVDs and other rewards to the backers of the project...
Of course, the film will also screen at international film festivals (my previous documentaries have shown in the USA, Mexico, Italy, France, Canada, Vietnam...), so there's also a chance that you'll have the opportunity to see the film on the big screen in a city near you!
Thanks again for asking about this - I'm sure that you aren't the only one who would like some clarification on how this whole Kickstarter thing works!
