Default Re: HELP with my over wintered plants

im truely a newbie here so.. but this last yr was my 1st yr overwintering
bananas.. kept alot of cannas,EE now..but 1st with bananas..
i had great sucess with my bananas..only lost 2 ensete maurelli.. im thinking
it was i didnt give them enough air circulation.. rot.. i kept all my overwintering plants(bareroot) at around 50F in mostly dark..
this comming winter..will do same temp..but plan to use packing peanuts
around the roots..
i do spray roots of the nanners maybe once every 2 or 3 weeks.. so they dont
completely dry out..
my basjoo i kept potted.. and they have done great..and are planted in
gardens now.. yea !!!
