Default Re: Getting Paw Paw fruits this year!

Great start. I grow pawpaws in same zone, over in Iowa. If you like tropical fruits you'll probably be in the lucky half that likes pawpaws.

I have a few pix and tips up: Picking wild pawpaws in the Ozarks

Two new things that are not up yet, about enjoying the fruit. If you cut out the "umbilicals" you can remove 90% of any bitterness (if you have seedlings some will have a touch of it). Or if you serve with ice cream it will almost over-neutralize any off flavors and is not a bad way to get new guys to give pawpaws a chance.

Good luck in your first fruit season.
