I said temperamental because I'm using a sand based potting medium for those two. Which I need to get away from. I think using a peat based potting soil with some perlite would be better.

Eric, I did loose more seedlings than I have growing now. In fact I had a lot of Musa Formosana which took a nose dive earlier this year. The Musa campestris were finicky too. You would think because they are called a 'Swamp Banana' they could handle the wet conditions. I guess the cool conditions I had them in less than 50 F led to rot.
