To grow musa ornata "Milky Way"

The soil around "Milky Way" need to be 60% sand and 40% loam soil / compost. Sand drain fast while loan soil drain slowly.

Since you only just got a sucker of "Milky Way", Buy the bag of sand and find the site by south wall (get most sun) & mix sand with soil / compost, use shade to mix. Then plant the "Milky Way" sucker. Then spread the 1.cm. layer of sand on soil around "Milky Way" as sand get hot from heat of sun, help warming the soil.
Water & feed them during summertime as you will want to harvest the suckers for planting in pots to hold them in your hothouse/greenhouse for wintertime and plant outdoor next year.
