This is the 1st year I have had them outside. I will try and leave them and see if they come back or not... They are pretty hary from my understanding. I do have 3-4" of mulch covering all my beds, so this will hopefully help...
I actually purchased them last fall when they were practically giving them away... I left them in their pot and stored them in my unheated garage... I don't know how they would do storing them like a bulb. If you pot them up for the winter, just be sure to not water them hardly at all (if any). Good luck and hope you have sucess with them...
