I would recheck that forcast. We are supposed to be in the high 30's next Wednesday and Thursday. I checked the Davis area and the forecast shows low 30's. I would cut the stalk and hang it inside. I have plants with fruit from September to flowers from today. I may cut some as one stalk I cut a few weeks ago is ripening up inside. I left one hanging last year and they never ripened.
