Smile Re: What is blooming in your garden today (other plants)?

Very pretty, John!

I tinkered around with African Violets awhile back and actually hand-pollinated some of the blooms by dispersing pollen around from many different blossoms...

Seed pods begin to swell and grow, and when they turn brown within a few weeks, the seeds inside are ready to be harvested.

New colors result from the seeds but if you want new plants from an already exisiting one, leaf cuttings are your best option.
