Ive heard that it is hardy to a zone 7, but I think its probably more like a zone 8. I have one thats about 5 feet tall, but Im not risking it in the ground yet. When it pups, Ill probably leave a pup or 2 in the ground and see how it does. Im surprised that no one has experimented with it yet since it is a beautiful banana!
