Here are my seed-grown Hybrid "French Vanilla" Marigolds beginning to bloom in front of my Basjoo...





Even though they look pale yellow today, the blooms become very light from the sun, over time. I'll show again later in September when the bush is completely loaded with carnation-like flowers.

It's one of my most favorite flowers of all. Even the leaves are glorious...
