This was a great post. I'm growing Thai black and it has not grown very much at all. Perhaps that due to the site (shade). I believe it also needs some fertilizer. I have a Saba that growing like gangbusters but the Thai black is only 3 feet tall.

I know there are reports of this baby coming back in Zone 7B but I'm digging mine up for the Winter and storing it in the greenhouse.
