Default Has Anyone Tried This? If so, What were your Results?

I have a very large corm which has several "eyes" on it. I have read about stressing the corms to stimulate pupping. I thought and thought about this and wanted to try this. I haven't really seen anything on this, this way - but maybe I just haven't queried the words properly in the search mode. Anyway, I was wondering if anyone has tried this and what their results were.

The corm has not flowered and currently in a growing stage. I took a decent size chunk out of the corm centering around a prominent eye. About the size of a generous piece of cake. The corm is planted in the ground and I have planted the eye as well. Comments and suggestions appreciated! Thanks!
