I hope I get more seed this year.
I have had two for about 35 years. They are 6 to 8 feet tall and very slow growers. They are not flowering right now. But it's relative is in full bloom. uaiacum officinale is one of the species yielding the true lignum vitae. All species in this genus Guaiacum are CITES-listed. The other species of true Lignum Vitae is Guaiacum sanctum.

This is Guaiacum sanctum and I like it the best. It's younger and is a better bloomer. Both species have a lot of seed. But I was first before it grows it must go through a bird. I have never seen a seedling under my trees. I have been told that special trees will germinate under the tree.
