Thanks LilraverBoi for your response. My SDC exactly did the same thing whatever you have mentioned. The SDC pup is growing well and it looks as if it sucked all the growth from its mother.

But the SDC pup that I planted individually in a pot is doing the same thing as the mother plant.

I'm seeing white spots in the stem of Musa Basjoo mother plant and I hope some one here will chime in on how to tackle the fungus issue.
