In a 3ft pot, any dwarf variety would do fine. I'm sure some taller ones would work too, but they may get more stressed after awhile. So anything like Dwarf Cavendish, Dwarf Orinoco, Dwarf Red (if it doesnt get too cold), probly Raja Puri, Williams, I bet you could get off with a Gran Nain as well...Rose.... probly anything listed with a 5-8ft height will work if you have the room above it (you may need about 15ft for some of the larger dwarf ones). I have a Rose in a 2ft diameter pot that has fruited once and about to fruit again, it grow wonderfully but since it has upright leaves, it takes up about 15ft of room even though the pseudostem is only 7ft tall about, so keep head space in mind.
