Patty *I live in Missouri zone 6. And this year I grew my own water banana. I started by putting a small banana plant in one inch of water. I slowly raised the water to over the top of the pot over the summer. It worked. It is in my basement in water. I just hope they survive. This cold winter makes it even colder in the basement.
