Great thread! We always have an artificial tree so we never get that great pine forest smell. I'll bet that really adds a lot (especially since I love camping in pine forests)! But a guy waits a whole year just to get presents and they're not always what he wanted anyway. Sometimes, a present I get in the summer is better than anything I get on Christmas.
But there's lights, decorations, great food, and people to have fun with
! And that's till January 6th! We always celebrate all 12 days of Christmas with relatives and friends! It's just being together and being happy that make it so great!
I've been studying American history. The pioneers made their own toys and presents and everything else. They didn't need stores to celebrate holidays!
