perhaps I'm not as hip as you but i don't really understand most of what you have said to me wile i find the use of slang fine on an every day bases it complicates the understanding that is required in am more in depth conversation.
that being said all do my best to rebut what i believe you are saying up until recently SB has one of the highest corporate responsibility ratings by Forbes magazine. look it up! the totals for the amount of money spent and donated to charity are a mater of public record. don't get me wrong. you don't know me as well as many of the other members here. I'm the first in line at demonstrations against the excesses of US Co so don't think I'm some sort of corporate America automaton. when i picked Starbucks to work for i looked vary in depth at there over all employ treatment and they way the worked in are community iv worked for some vary bad Co's like Hillhaven Corp which was so unethical the US dept of Laborer sued them to have there license to operate suspended indefinitely and won! iv been used and abused by corporate America so if I'm defending starbuck which in no was is a statement that i believe they are perfect but as far as US co go there pretty descent to us on the hole and as far as what they give us i personally know many people that have worked for or are currently working for SB that have received the various funds that are offered my manger just finished a 4 year deg in Anthropology payed for entirely 100% by starbucks to the total of about 50,000$ US thats pretty high level of devotion to an employ don't you think? and i know for a fact because i personally have participated in the program that we build schools and water treatment facility's for poor people all over the world and not only in foreign country's but here in the US to we just built a water facility in the appellation mountains in the last 3 or 4 years i don't ember the exact place as i wasn't involved with that we built a rode in to the mountains of south eastern Columbia so that the natives wouldn't have to carry 100lb bags of coffee beans on there backs to the nearest sales point so 90mils away so you tell me that I'm sum sort of corporate BS agent you don't know me that well I'm ethical to the core i was raised in and ethical home were social responsibility was not only tot but was demonstrated daily i would not work for Starbuck or any other Co i felt was in it totally for the money its not my way id rather starve right along with the poor coffee growers then be involved with that kind of life! and i see a hole hell of a lot of the Socially misaligned yups standing in line for there skinny lattes bitching because there 1/4 inch of fome on the top of their cup and they think we are cheating them out of product for it sorry if thats ranting but you went vary sensitive to my feelings by what you side above so i don't think i have to be ether and lastly based on what i said in my previous post you couldn't possibly determine my my complete position on the subject as i didn't not provide you with enough information to make the assertion you did!
Is that Your Truth or My Truth or some one elses Truth I would really like to hear from you a better more complete explanation of were you are coming from and what you actually mean by you statements beacons all i here is ridicule and cynicism and if your really want to Chang my mind about the Co i work for you are going to have to give me a bit more then the corporate slave mongers line i have no idea what area you were Born in but that ones older then my Grate Grate Grandma and just as Stael
