A few years ago I had a business opportunity that almost had me moving permanently to the Dominican Republic! Was looking at real estate and everything. For what I paid for a house here I could afford huge mansion with marble everything down there and who knows how many acres!

I spent 3 months on this deal and I flew down to sign contracts and the person I had negotiated everything with took on a new business partner a few weeks prior and he said no to everything and sent me back to the US with nothing. He owned a lot of clubs in Santo Domingo and he was the big shot down there and he knew that once I moved there and the people that were partnering up with me we would end up being the big shots down there...
