Sounds similar to the concept of aquaponics, might help to look up guides on it. While I haven't used my turtle's water on bananas specifically, it works quite well for the rose bushes just outside...

3 weeks is about the normal amount of time it takes for these seeds to germinate and the germination rate should be very high.

Some people find it very easy to grow...

Anybody water bananas with turtle tank water? I have red eared sliders and wonder if I can use their spent tank water to irrigate my banana plants? Anyone tried it?
