I use sand in some of my work.

Play sand is washed, dried and screened to get a uniform grain size then packaged.

Mason sand is unwashed, and has larger screens so you get more variation in grain...

Well not today exactly, in the last week...

Fished out 3 water lily corms and potted them, they are now in the "nursery tank".

My ginger (edible) bed now has 10 shoots from 2" to 8".

Hi,

I am a full time glass artist with an interest in growing my own bananas, for fruit, fiber (to make paper) and cuz I like to garden.

I am in south Tx. Zone 9-10 and n newbie in Bananas.
