That makes sense. This makes me want to replace all my orinocos because they really don’t ripen up to taste very good to me. I may just sell the bananas to my local Asian market for other fruits

Do you use burrow Orinoco bananas as a plantain or let them ripen like a dessert banana? I’d probably like to get a goldfinger or a Brazilian too

When it comes to new plants like this, I like to pot them up and leave them in a mostly shady area with light amounts of water to let them acclimate. You can never go wrong starting slow with them.

Looks beautiful, I’d keep them there and not switch it up. Real blue java get GIGANTIC, very thick and tall sometimes 16 feet.

Okay good I’m glad I’m not the only one, thanks Bill. After losing that one I’ll definitely keep them drier for the first couple weeks or so. I actually let my last 3 pups sit out for almost 2 days...
