Blood Banana in New Orleans?

Anybody familiar with red bananas? I found this growing in Nola. At least 8ft tall very strong stalk. No flowers, bell was cut off during development....

Making a quick reply. I have an enset that was born because somebody cut back theirs hard, or it broke. I also just read about one such example where they cut it back hard, and then cut a notch down...

I don't know how big it's gonna get, this was a pup chopped short, and it's probably only 7ft tall. I haven't cut the bud off and try to take as many different photos. I will look through and see...

I'll update my location, but I don't have much info on the tree. What other photos would help ID? Leaf canal shape? It will be 15 ft tall probably but I don't recal the mother. Thanks

We may never know what these are but they taste just like Cavendish, so we'll prolly keep saying Dwarf Cavendish. Lol... They are about 5' -6' but the next plant is larger, and the flowering one...

We grow bananas and other tropical fruits and veggies in zone 10a Cape Coral, FL. Southwest FL. Inland climate only 30 min from the coast.

And as far as it being a Not Basjoo, I would like to...

2 different people's handles, Mother and son, living together. This is Mom.

We mentioned the Basjoo we have, and will soon show it. The plant in reference right now is showing above.
