Are these Basjoo's? I know the leaves are beat up and the weather has cooled off here. We havent had a frost yet. I see some red in the trunk and in the leaves but hard to tell by the shape they are...

Thank you very much for the replies. I do have an actual basjoo and noticed the red line in the leaf that plant doesn't have. It also has red splotches on the leaves that leads me to believe its not...

I bought this at the local nursery back May. It only said on the pot Musa. I asked the people that worked there if it was a cold hardy Musa Basjoo. None of them knew. So, is there ways or spotting...

I'm thinking Wet and Cold spring hurt mine. I'm going to leave the assumed dead corms in the ground to see what happens. I will keep you posted.

I'm going to uncover mine today to see if I have any new growth. Here in Indy spring arrived late. Very frustrating. A year ago by now mine Musa Basju would be about three feet tall by now.
