Two Musa Ornata "Red" seedlings.
They came out of the seeds after 6 weeks in perlite.
Stems just over 2 cm (ca 1 inch)

Anyone any idea of this "incident" is only the main plant (genetic fault in growing point) or genetic, so all pups will have the same problem?
In the latter case I will destroy all pups. (And clear...

I think it's already too late if you only stop watering. I think that you should check the roots and clear any black tissue. Then repot the plant and leave it there.
