Bananas have 2 stages, a vegetative one and a fruiting one. The faster you can get thru the first one, the sooner you get to the next one. Plenty of water & nitrogen and potassium during the warm,...

I put monthly applications of 6-3-16 from Diamond R. Specially formulated for bananas. They do great. High potassium --- most important.

Make sure they get enough water during the dry season, that will help. Also, bananas need a lot of potassium to fill in, otherwise it takes longer. My Brazilians used to take 6 months, but last time...

It is definitely not any type of Namwah/Ducasse.

It appears to be a Blue Java/Ice Cream type variant. The lightly variegated fruit is certainly not common, but it's not that distinctive of a trait,...

I’ve never had a Musa Saba bunch but it looks a lot like Saba to me. How big is the plant? Saba are big plants! Get some more pictures so hopefully Gabe can confirm!

It's not Pisang Awak/"Namwah". Doesn't look exactly like Ice Cream, but closer to that than Pisang Awak. Looks to be in the Bluggoe ("Orinoco") / Ney Mannan ("Ice Cream") range, but I'm not sure. ...

Definitely is not a Blue Java Ice Cream 'Nana but resembles The Pisang Awak means Namwah 'Nana!.....Hopefully it helps!....
