The problem looks like it occurred when the leaf was in it's candela stage and it could have been some kind of water deficiency/sunburn

Honestly, I believe it is an Ensete Ventricosum 'Maurelii' (Red Abyssinian banana)....they get very faded in the sun and lose their auburn completion. Mine looks very similar. And for the record,...

This seems more like Ensete ventricosum to me.
I don't know, this happened to my plants only once and even that on one leaf, so I think that it's either leaf burn or some deficiency. Sorry for not...
