About 90 days. .... If the pstem is 8 ft or less at the junction of the last leaf, it is considered a dwarf. Other wise it is hard to tell the difference between them.

That's amazing you got it to flower in Toronto. Will you overwinter it indoors to try to actually get an edible banana next year?

Very hard to tell. It’s not a dwarf Orinoco. It could be a tall Orinoco. As soon as the flower opens take daily pictures. Or at least every 2-3 days.

The P stem and the leaves look too skinny to be a dwarf Orinico. The last picture looks like it's flowering. I can't tell what you have there.

If you were closer I would try sending you one of mine. Kevin2685 is a member in Indiana. He has a large mat of Basjoo. Try him if you can't find one locally.

Hi, there aren't too many places in the city. Plant world is in Etobicoke, maybe check there. Sometimes downtown there are little plant stores, in Kensington there is a plant shop. 30 min north they...
