Re: Something wrong with bunch

Could you upload some pictures?

How long has this been happening? Around 7 years?

Maybe you shouldn't be cutting off the flower. You could also use some neem oil on the cut area if you haven't...

Re: My basjoo is flowering!

There are a lot...

Re: Question About TC FHIA-03

The internet doesn't portray tone, so just letting you know I'm not debating anything. The Musa flowchart clearly shows the lineage, but I got the classification information from the Honduran...

Re: Question About TC FHIA-03

I know it's kind of off topic, but could you send a picture of your Kokopo that's next to it?

It sounds like everything is doing good.

From my research the FHIA-03 is in the Bluggoe/ Orinoco family.

Re: Tissue cultures keep dying

I definitely understand the TC issue.

I've had 3 TCs for a couple of months now, and they're so finicky and growing barely faster than snails race.

It seems like we've passed the glory days of...

Would you recommend watering every day for these small...

Re: Growing Bananas at 8000 feet/searching for A'ea'e

For us newer growers, what in the bottom picture cues you in to the downward spiral?

I could only see a slight drooping on the leaves which is usually caused (in my very warm and very humid area)...

So in a way, its basically a semi-aeroponic system.

That's crazy cool. I've seen your posts on this before, but how did you come up with this method?

Bananas Brindando Re: Wanted: Veinte Cohol

If my TC VC grows up big and strong I'll send a pup your way.

Re: Veinte Cohol Pups Arrived - It Begins!

Hmm, my VC looks to have stunted growth. 5 leaves all next to each other at the same height. The 6th Leaf has grown to be a centimeter higher. New leaf on the way.

Kokopo is hardly hanging in. (its...

Yeah It's been extremely slow. Also a flood of bots posting suspicious links too.
