Why couldn't you eat the fruit?
plant choked and bananas never fully emerged from stem and got cigar end rot..

How tall was the mature plant?
the overall plant was 6' including leaves and app. 3'...

thought i would throw this out..

as i love to use coconut fiber & perlite for rooting, but this isn't available here.

so i was out to find a replacement and came up with putting the pup in...

this dwarf orinoco bunch is second year pup on mother corm.
fruits are 7"x 3" top hand and 6"x 2-3" bottom hand. first bunch only got top hand 6" to bottom hand 4".
52 fruits from 4 hands
