well a few years ago i put a bunch of ever bearing strawberry(white flowers) varieties in a patch with a few others(tall hot pink).

from seed i got a few wild looking plants that i removed. i wanted the new plant to be ever bearing but taller so the fruit wouldn't touch the ground. i wanted it to send out runners often too.

this is a cross between a parent with a hot pink flower and a parent with a white flower. the result is a light pink flowering mid sized hybrid that spits out fruit constantly. it does not send out lots of runners like the low ever bearing parent. the fruits aren't consistently huge and pretty like the taller parent.
they vary in size. some are small some are big. most are odd shaped, but all are sweet.

they are off the ground and are ever bearing. i should be satisfied.
