After you read the thread "Putting bananas to sleep for the winter," you carefully wrap your pseudostem in swaddling clothes and lay it in the crib for a nice nap!

When everyone goes around the table at Thanksgiving Dinner telling about what they are thankful for and you can't help but name a few musa varieties your thankful for in your garden or that late bloom last summer or..................

When you've spent $2000 to rent green house space for your largest plants for the winter, have turned your front porch in to a greenhouse that will cost another $1000 in energy costs, you're bare rooting a few in the root cellar and still have to cover the basjoos at Thanksgiving!:ha::ha::ha:......and in zone 6!:waving:
