What is this...
...and how do I use it?
I recently bought a spare SD memory card for my wife's camera. What I got was a micro SD, with 2 adapters, so it could also be used as a mini SD, or a standard full size SD. Also included was this other gadget. I'm not sure what it is, or what it's used for. [IMG][/IMG] [IMG][/IMG] |

its a micro sd card reader . it plugs into a usb port and alows a computer without a media card reader to read the sd card like a drive on the computer

Yes, it's a microSD card reader. The four golden contact lines are plugged directly into the USB port on a computer and you insert the microSD card on the side where the cord loops. It not only allows any PC with a USB port to read the cards, but it bypasses the need for the full-sized SD card adaptor you'd normally insert the microSD into. Keep it on your keychain.
