 While I was taking the photo a large red millipede crawled between my toes and my first thought was centipede. I hate centipedes, they are mean suckers. I should take some photos of centipedes, but I always kill them before I have time to think.

Centipedes, though creepy, are quite beneficial. I don't know about out there, but here they help control the slug population as well as many other small insects. |
