![]() I'll tell you what I say...that was one long-ass video!!!
![]() I was checking it out earlier but it was too long and I got distracted by the phone. Sad that it was discovered with motives for war & distruction. Sounds like amazing stuff though. I really need to watch the video again before I can comment too much. I'll check it out again soon, when I have an extra three hours! ![]() LoL. ![]() : ) |

![]() I can't get into it tonight but what I did see was totally interesting...he was saying something about the stuff being able to fuel the world far more efficiently than what we are currently using, if I recall correctly.
I promise to watch it again soon and then we can discuss it more. ![]() I'll tell you what... when you get around to taking a shot of one of your flames for the candle thread, I'll watch this video again in full! ![]() You can even quiz me! ![]() : ) |

![]() Well it's not like I'm an expert on the subject so it won't be too difficult. I'm reading as I can but I'll be lucky to grasp even half of what he's talking about. Hopefully with enough reading I'll be able to converse and ask questions with those who know more about it. I was hoping there might be some here that are already educated on this, but we can banter anyway. It's all good!
![]() I have read that we (USA) are the OPEC of Thorium. If this is true wtf are we waiting for! |

![]() Alright, I know it's time for me to pony up, since you did come through with the candle shots.
![]() How long is this video anyway? ![]() It might be better for me to watch it tomorrow when I'm fresh...if it's ok. I might watch some later tonight though so we'll see, but I for sure will tomorrow, if not. I really did think it was pretty interesting. ![]() Chat soon... : ) |

![]() And now....
oops, this link seems to change daily. Oh well. It was about the evacuation of the plant workers and the eminent meltdown. Now it about a new hope for cooling. Let's hope it works because I don't know just how much seaweed I can stand to eat in getting ready for the fallout here on the west coast. Iodide tablets are sold out everywhere so a diet rich in iodine is next best. Of course it has to carefully measured as too much iodine is really bad. Here is a chart. ![]() Ok I've now watched the whole video!
![]() Wow, that was really interesting and I can see why you're so into it, Mitchel. It's kind of exciting. ![]() The potential energy contained in Thorium is staggering...far more than what's in our current chemical-based fuels. It sounds like this really could be our next giant leap for the entire world...yet only India is one of the few countries who takes this seriously and is committed to Thorium energy... What are we waiting for?! ![]() He was saying that realistically, using the skunkworks approach, we could have this idea implemented and up and running within a 10 year span. This could be our answer, yet he didn't seem too optimistic that it would take, for some reason. ![]() Not sure why the world isn't jumping all over this when it's far more efficient and environment-friendly. I think he mentioned that the Czech Republic is also seeing the advantages of Thorium energy, but why we aren't implementing this kind of technology, is concerning. I thought it was neat when he passed around that 100 gram chunk and said that if it was Thorium, it would represent one person's lifetime of energy consumption! How cool. Too funny & cute as well, when he commented about teaching his little girls the periodic table of elements. They must be little geniuses! ![]() Thanks for the video...I had no idea about any of it until now. It really is a huge breakthrough though and hopefully the world will realize that this could be our answer and solution...especially to counteract the negative effects of global warming. This would really tackle our huge problems with coal & transportation. Plus modern agriculture would be sustained and fertilizer could be made in a non carbon emitting way. ![]() Very interesting and amazing, Mitchel. I read your 2nd article too...but I'll comment on that another time... : ) Last edited by The Hollyberry Lady : 03-16-2011 at 01:46 PM. Reason: damn spelling!!! |
