looking for Carissa spinarum aka C. edulis
I'm looking for this relative of the Natal Plum which is far better tasting and nutritious. Viable seeds would be great.
In India, it is known by the names Karondu, Garnu, and Kharnu. It is indigenous to northern Australia, south Asia, parts of Africa, and in fact Gondwana. The fruit is berry size, smaller than the Natal Plum. There is a larger-fruited variety that has been bred in Thailand but much of the taste and nutrition has been bred out of it. Below are pictures of the plant, fruits, and a map of locations it is growing in the wild.
