That's a bad combination in many situations. Don't worry Paulo, life's not about jobs, money or stuff like that. Just make sure you put your new free time to good use.

In response to the post.Thats ok we all need to get stuff out once in awile. Your post made me grateful. We sometimes take for granted the things we have untill we donot have them. I hope it gets better for you. Im here if you ever need someone to talk to. I donot have kids myself. I work full time and take care of my elderly mom after I get off work. I sometimes get in the poor me's,but than I get grateful. Im happy I can take care of mom and I have a job.And gardening is my theropy.

I had a freind who was also my ex boss we were real close like brothers he crossed over two years ago a trailer fell on him and took him instantly. Its been very hard for me around the holidays I tented to dwell on all the people that have crossed over in the past waisting allot of energy. And forgetting all the ones I have here around me I have to say I had a good holiday this year. Me and my blood brother are real close now I have my sister and mom she is the greatest !!!!!! I have my nephew my neases and my sisterinlaw. And my animals and my garden which is my life line. And all you guys.
I have allot of material things which I find is not that important yes there good to have and im grateful for them but Im finding out that the things in life are the things around you the simple things.
If you cannot post here and talk as a person than what is this place worth ? Thanks for posting

This is what I like the most at .org .
Friendly spirit and lot of good peoples hanging here willing to help each other about almost everything and to every one.
I had many dicussions about that earlyer, shoud .org be forum for strictly banana talks or we have to include this social part in it.
Now Im happy to see how are things developing

Hang in there, Pauly! From one Gemini to another, I know that when I get all funky feeling it's because I've forgotten how to be a kid. Since you're idled, you've got the time to try this - see if you can try to find your old sense of wonder, through whatever childish means necessary. Often $5 worth of tempera paint and some old newspapers will go a very long way to banishing the blooz.

Hang in there Paulo we are with ya!!! Next to Halloween and before Christmas my favorite day of the year is Dec 21st things just go the other way for me on that day. Longer daylight hours and I know its a small amount at first but it helps me alot!!!!!!!! I always feel I have turned the corner on another year even though in this neck of the woods there is plenty more winter to come!

Ya have a Lot of friends here and a Lot of them will be your friend for life, I know cause I'm one ! Besides, if the economy ever gets THAT bad, you can always move in with me - I'll be living in Bob's attic !
Or Beth's... Luv those tropics, Yes!! (did somebody faint!? lol)!
Oh, and ya don't have to be a kid for Christmas. I know cause everytime I get a new video-game, dad turns into a kid & hogs it ! Just BE a kid for Christmas anyway ! Dad always is! You're a really great guy and I'm Real glad I met ya ! Hope to meet you, and some other members here, in real life someday........
Special note: If that last sentence scares anybody, reading this post, you can always buy extra bars for the doors & windows... (gotta play fair).
May seem a little tuff to get happy sometimes. But even when I had a broken leg, I found ways to do it! Just get determined & have a Best winter & Christmas ever!

Beth, I'll grab the brushes & be right over! Hope ya have lots of walls in your house !!

I really relate, Pauly, and am starting my usual fall/winter funk. Please know that you're not alone, that there are folks who really try to understand and support you, and that we care. And before we know it, we'll be watching those new shoots coming up!

I'm not trying to push religion or anything like that, but what really makes me happy when I'm sad is praying talking to my Guardian Angel. I also think of the people who care for me and how much they love me. "If you knew how much I love you, you would cry tears of joy." Mary the Theotokos

Paulo

Reading this, a saying comes to mind, something about a person feeling bad or sorry for themselves because they had no shoes until they saw someone who had no feet.

Sometimes it's hard to put things in perspective.

Consider my days these past few days:

1) Friday morning after thanksgiving. Early morning notification call from Medical Examiner ex-husband's death.

2) Saturday night: discovering serious questions about professional conduct of emergency responders--in other words, this death may not have occurred if he had received prompt and appropriate attention

3) Sunday: agonizing what to do, notify deceased's sibling from out of state

4) Monday: pursue investigation (file complaint, request full autopsy , confer with deceased's sibling

5) Tuesday: another trip/call to ME office, figure out logistics and details for mortuary, burial, other services

6), 7), 8), 9), 10)

The deceased had the total sum of $1205 in savings to defray any and all costs.

One son recently returned from Iraq, working as security in NY hotel; one son displaced by this downward economy since February--savings expended.

Add in the emotions and dysfunctions wrought on the family, stir, and watch out for flying fur .

When it rains, it pours.

Someone, somewhere in a place not far away from you, a person is going through something that makes the last few days of my life seem like a walk in the park.

Buck up, be strong 'cause only the strong survives.

Someone, somewhere in a place not far away from you, a person is going through something that makes the last few days of my life seem like a walk in the park.

Buck up, be strong 'cause only the strong survives.
o It may not sound it but i am vary strong its just a cemical imbalance iv had all my life but i have an allergy to seratonin re uptake drugs so i cant take them any more i use to uses Buspar but that only works for 120days so thats all used up so i just have to struggle threw and iv learned to deal with it for the most part its just this winter has been a bit harder theirs many more stresses this year so I'm just reaching out to many of the people that i know well and whom i think over the last 2 years have come to know me and care about me

Im sorry for your loss and hope that you will turn to your loved ones they are the best sours of comfort a person can ask for take care pleas let me know if you need to talk
