It;s so very very cold! Been colder but, not ready for this. 5 people died in Wisc in last couple days from storm. 2?,000 ppl w/out power...some for a full day with temps dropping to 0F. Here in Milwauke here we didn't get much snow but at Mike's house - 35 miles north, was where the damage was w/ over 14,000 ppl w/ out power there. It's below zero to 2F here in Milwaukee.

Very cold weather continues! Going into the low teens tonight which is the coldest yet and colder than all of last winter. Chance of some snow on tuesday and below average temperatures both day and night every day for the next 10! Looks like the below average temperature pattern will continue for the entire month.

Very cold today here. Twenty-seven degrees F now. Woke up to find my propane grill had taken a tumble out in the middle of the yard due to high winds. Privacy fences, other structures, and loose items have been blow over. A low of 14 F expected tonight.

After multiple snowstorms, including losing power for 3 days due to downed lines from wet heavy snow, the monster storm the Midwest is getting will be here tonight. They forecast we will be on the edge and thus will have ice instead of snow. I'd rather have the snow.

Took a walk through the garden today. Looks like the palms were hard hit, and ironically the windmills look better than the needles! On the plus side all of my fancy goldfish and koi made it through the winter OK.

Thanks, we sold over 2 dozen trees, about 10 shrubs/vines, over 200 4-inch pots of vegetable and herb plants, plus about 2 cases of fertilizers, supplements, etc. We do it every Sunday. I'll start bringing banana plants and mango trees in a week or two.
