Networking is good! I stopped at SouthLaTropical's place in Fordoche yesterday and left with enough cool plants to start a roadside nursery.
He had several plants that I've had on the wish-list for a while.
I'll be back in a few weeks to bring some plants.


So get out there, and visit when you can. I hope to see everyone at one of the meet-ups or another!

Nice Pete, I really have to make an excuse to get down that way. In addition to gaining weight I'd come home broke. Visiting New Orleans would do that anyway Your yard must look like the jungle gardens at Avery Island.

Nice haul!!! I've got Isaac's plants growing great guns in my yard too but via the postal service... in fact seeds from some of his cannas are growing over in England now. I think that is so cool!
